  • Can I meet a mentor before purchasing?
Yes! We believe it is important to meet our mentorship team before you decide to purchase our services. Within MedLeague Free, our free online community, our mentors host live calls every week about the topics that you care about most!
  • If I request a specific mentor, is that a guarantee that I will be paired with them?
No, we cannot guarantee that you will be paired with a mentor that you request. To ensure high quality, our mentors only take a couple of mentees at once. What we can guarantee is that you will be paired with a mentor that is suited to your specific needs.
  • Can you create a custom program for me?
Yes, we can. If none of our packages work for you, we are happy to create a custom program to suit your needs. For more information, you can meet with our team here.
  • Who are your mentors?
All of our mentors are current medical students. They have all been vetted & trained in our mentorship methodology. We believe in the value of being mentored by someone who was once in your shoes.
  • What are your guarantees?
We cannot guarantee acceptance to medical school, or any specific medical schools; we do not make shady promises that we cannot keep. What we will do is work with you to make your application more competitive in every aspect.
  • How long is a session?
A session is 30 minutes, and is usually held once weekly or monthly, depending on your needs. Meetings can be longer or shorter as needed, in which case, the appropriate deduction will be made from total mentorship time purchased.
  • How can I purchase mentorship?
You can navigate to our purchase page.
  • What does a session with a mentor look like?
Mentorship meetings typically last 30 minutes, though some may go longer depending on your goals. During these sessions, you'll work with your mentor to tackle tasks, and receive guidance on goals like building a theme, securing shadowing opportunities, or developing relationships for recommendation letters.
  • Is there an MCAT score guarantee?
Yes! Our MCAT Premium plans comes with a 512 score guarantee.
  • What package should I choose?
The content of your program varies based on your needs; our personalized, private MCAT prep packages can stand alone or complement other methods like online courses or independent study. Since we customize your program, we can explore your options during a scheduled call – the best MCAT tutoring service is tailored to you!
  • How often do I meet with my tutor?
Our tutoring is fully personalized. While sessions are usually held weekly, you and your tutor can adjust the frequency as needed throughout the review process. We aim to give candidates enough time between sessions to complete work, make revisions, and absorb what they’ve learned.
  • What sort of students are MedLeague's MCAT program for?
Private tutoring is ideal for candidates who want a customized approach to test prep. Our MCAT coaching service helps you pinpoint and address your weaknesses while teaching effective test-taking strategies.
  • If I request a specific tutor, is that a guarantee that I will be paired with them?
To maintain high quality, our MCAT tutors only take on a few students at a time. If you have a preferred tutor in mind, we’d love to hear it, though we can’t guarantee their availability.
